Romeo is Evenly's first AI-native product.

Romeo is the AI operating system for clear aligners, built by Evenly Orthodontics. Designed by people who treat these cases, for the dentists who take them on.

Not a chatbot in a clinical coat.

Romeo is not a model pointed at a dental prompt. The verdict comes from a deterministic engine; the model's job is to read the case and explain the result, never to decide it.

That separation — propose, score, narrate — is what makes the call reproducible, versioned, and auditable. It is the whole design, not a feature of it.

The verdict is math. The model's job is to read the case and explain itself, not to decide.
Romeo design note

Built by an orthodontic practice.

Romeo is built by Evenly Orthodontics, a virtual orthodontics practice in Bethesda, Maryland. The rubric and the look-alike library are drawn from 60,000 real Evenly cases.

Because the people building it also treat clear-aligner cases, Romeo opines the way a senior orthodontist would — and is honest about the limits of what it knows.

Auditable by construction.

  • HIPAA-minded by design

Romeo handles records under HIPAA. Access is provisioned by an administrator, not self-serve sign-up.

  • Append-only audit trail

Every case records hashed inputs, prompts, model and rubric versions, and engine outputs — a permanent, append-only record.

  • Server-side only

The model API key never reaches the browser. There are no client-side AI calls, ever.

Romeo supports the treating dentist's judgment. Rationales are AI-generated for clinical review, and the default thresholds are indicative until calibrated against treatment outcomes.
